Amanda Baxter

Amanda Baxter is the owner, weaver and yarn dyer of Shiny Dime Fibers. Shiny Dime is a symbol used in memory of her sister. This business the start of a long process of personal healing, and a desire to bring together a community of supportive fiber artists. She loves the creativity of collaboration, and the positive energy created when sharing in the love of the work that we make together. Amanda has an MFA in Textiles from Indiana University, and has taught classes as an associate instructor as well as workshops at the Collins Living Learning Center and during her residency at the Appalachian Center for Craft in Smithville, TN.
