Beginning Shuttle Tatting
A simple method of tatting for beginners, that takes the mystery out of this wonderful lace form. In this class, students will learn the two halves of the tatting stitch, making a picot for decoration, making a ring and joining rings - all by crafting a butterfly pin. Materials are provided as well as a tatting shuttle for students to keep, and are included in the class fee. Class size is kept small for plenty of individual instruction.
The class fee includes both the materials fee and the workshop fee.

Roiana Buckmaster lives in Mt Pleasant, TN, working a small farm with her husband to build flocks of Icelandic Sheep and Heritage Poultry. She was given knitting needles at age six (to keep out from underfoot), embroidery at ten (to sit still) and plunged into the rabbit hole of the fiber arts world from there. Roiana has been teaching for 8 years, both at fiber festivals across the South and at the shop on the farm. She attributes her skills to Grandma Irene, and promised to teach those skills to others.
