Crochet an Emotional Support Chicken with Jennifer Johnson

Gather together to send Appalachia some love through handwork of Emotional Support Chicks. Jennifer’s straightforward crochet pattern works up quickly. “Mountain Momma Weaver” Milissa Dewey a.k.a. “Bobbin Boy” wife – a lifelong resident of Asheville, NC has distributed emotional support chickens to schools, churches, first responders and community members since the disaster struck last fall. As a home-health nurse, she sees the need for comfort during this challenge – and who cannot smile at a chicken made in love and given in love. Workshop fee offsets mailing costs.
Workshop fee: $20 per student
Intermediate level, must know how to crochet
Materials fee: $5
Students to bring: Crochet hook (size 4 and 5), amall amount of poly-fill if you have it, scissors, pencil
