Needle-felting Birds with Karen Ames
Friday, April 11, 1 pm to 4 pm
We will use barbed needle felting needles to sculpt wool into shapes and assemble the shapes to make personalized spring birds. We will learn basic needle felting techniques which will allow students to learn how to judge the proper compactness of the wool for the desired outcome and to experience the stress relieving fun of creative expression through needle felting. It’s addictive!
Workshop fee: $50 per student
Beginner level, no previous experience required
Materials fee: $10, includes natural and dyed wool fibers, felting needle and handle, wire, glass bead eyes
